This practical workshop will support teachers in taking their primary science lessons outdoors. We will explore which lessons should be taught outdoors, and which lessons could be taught outdoors. We will spend time looking at how to plan for effective outdoor science lessons, where children make progress, and where teachers have the opportunity to assess that progress.
Participants will be able to reflect on their own science teaching, and to plan further opportunities for taking their science lessons outdoors.
