About me
I am a science educator and researcher with experience teaching and leading science departments across a range of UK schools. I am currently Head of Science at Radnor House Sevenoaks and have previously held senior leadership roles in science education. My doctoral research explored how teachers’ perceptions and science capital influence decisions about GCSE science pathways, with a particular focus on the relationship between subject choice and social stratification. I am particularly interested in the ways in which educational decisions are shaped by teachers, schools and wider social contexts.
