ASE 2027 Annual Conference

Over the last few years whilst working as a physics teacher Simon has created sets of ideas for teaching physics organised by topic area which are shared freely on a Creative Commons non-commercial licence via the www.teachphysics.org website. The aim has been to bring together practical physics teaching ideas from a range of individuals and organisations together in one place so that a busy teacher or technician can quickly look through the topic they are about to teach or reviewing the scheme of work for and select some new or different ideas to use. Simon has also delivered a range of physics CPD workshops most recently at the 2026 Kent Festival of Physics, sharing his project at the Science on Stage Festival in 2026 as part of the UK delegation and a practical workshop at the Isaac Science Teacher Symposium in July 2026 in Cambridge.
