About me
I am a science educator, evolution enthusiast and PhD researcher at the Centre for Evolution, University of Bath. I’m researching how we can teach evolution better, making it practical, accessible and a golden thread running throughout biology rather than something we wheel out for a few lessons and put away again.
Come and talk to me about evolution, misconceptions, practical science, curriculum, education research, weird and wonderful biology facts, D&D, Terry Pratchett, fossils, or "why life finds a way".
I firmly believe that science education could benefit from a little more curiosity, a little less fear of getting things wrong and considerably more orangutan librarians.
