ASE 2027 Annual Conference

I am Associate Professor and Primary Science Lead for the Initial Teacher Education programmes at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. As a member of the Primary Science Curriculum Advisory Group (PCAG) I was involved in producing the Framework for a Future Primary Science Curriculum. I have also co-authored Standing on the Shoulders of Giants, Superhero Scientists, and It’s Not Fair and contributed to Collins’ SNAP Science scheme of work. I serve as a Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) Professional Learning Partner and National STEM Learning Lead Facilitator. I was the Association for Science Education’s (ASE) national chair in 2023/24. More recently I have worked with the organisation as one of the drafters for the new Primary Science National Curriculum for England.
